Clean & Honest

Lamme cares about honest business conduct as well as loyal and transparent partnerships. We are open about who we work with and how we want to work with them. We are open about the origin of our products and we expect the same level of transparency from our suppliers.

Chetna Project, India

A significant portion of our rental textiles are sourced in collaboration with textile supplier Dibella and NGO Chetna Organic, an organisation that supports organic cotton farmers in Yavatmal, India. Certified with both GOTS and Fair Trade, these textiles reflect our commitment to a transparent and responsible textile value chain.

Beyond responsible sourcing, we recognise the need for broader community support. Therefore, Lamme has been actively involved in helping to improve education and infrastructure within these communities. With this support, the community has been able to invest in education, school furniture, books, bicycles, and better sanitation.

Product transparency

In order to give our clients reliable information about the origin of our rental products, we provide full traceability of the product’s lifecycle. For this, we work with ProductDNA as an independent professional service provider. Check out our rental product’s value chains via our ProductDNA page.

Sustainable procurement

We believe transparency and responsibility should extend across our entire supply chain. That’s why we focus on sourcing textiles that meet high social and environmental standards. We predominantly purchase certified products - such as GOTS, Oeko-Tex, Fair Trade, and Green Button - to ensure sustainable production and fair working conditions across the value chain. Also, more and more we buy textiles containing recycled content, preferably GRS certified. In addition, all our suppliers are required to sign our code of conduct, committing to ethical practices along the value chain in line with our values.

‘De Waslijn’ laundry

In March 2025, we proudly opened De Waslijn - Europe’s first fully electric and CO₂-neutral laundry. In collaboration with Tomingroep and Billie Wonder, we have created a unique circular service that collects, washes, and returns over 10,000 reusable diapers each week for childcare locations. The laundry process runs on 100% renewable electricity, saving thousands of cubic meters of gas, and the transportation is carried out via electric vans, saving thousands of liters of diesel each year.

Just as important, the laundry is located within the premises of social employment enterprise Tomingroep, who offer inclusive job opportunities for people with a distance to the labor market. De Waslijn is a clear example of how we believe business should be done: with care for people, planet, and long-term impact.

Our memberships

Collaboration and external validation play an important role in how we operate. As many of the challenges we face cannot be resolved by us alone, Lamme is a member of various initiatives and organisations – such as Cibutex, the Circular Plastics Alliance, MVO Nederland, MaxTex, and national textile service industry associations FTN and DTV.

Our certifications

Our commitment to responsible business conduct is reflected in the way we work and verified through independent audits and certifications. For more than 15 years we have been certified for the CSR Performance Ladder (level 4), which is based on ISO 26000 and assesses our social and environmental activities. In addition, our quality management system is certified under Certex (ISO 9001), ensuring we consistently meet high standards in our processes and service.

Sponsoring

With many of our employees living near our facilities, it feels natural to support the local communities. From local sports clubs to grassroots initiatives, and from the local fire department to festivities, we’re happy to contribute where we can and be part of what brings people together.
