Story of Lamme

Lamme Textile Management has been around for almost 200 years. When the demand for peat-diggers (‘turfstekers’) diminished in the Netherlands of the 19th century, people looked for other means of existence. In 1834 Evert Lamme started a small laundry bleach business on the frontlawn of his own house. He was the first of a long line of Lamme’s who turned laundry into serious business.
