Position: HR & Payroll Officer
Location: Nederhorst den Berg
Number of hours: 24 to 32
Are you meticulous, analytical, and do you get energy from well-organized HR and payroll administration? Are you looking for a position in which you are involved in a wide range of HR activities, but also play an important role in the hours and payroll processes, and in which you can grow to independently perform payroll processing? Then you are the colleague we are looking for!
Your role
As an HR & Payroll Officer, you will support the HR department across the board and ensure that our administrative processes run smoothly. You will work closely with the HR Manager, HR Officer, and HR colleagues and act as their sparring partner in day-to-day operations.
You will also play an important role in time registration, processing changes, and supporting payroll administration. In time, you will even be able to progress to independently handling the entire payroll.
This is what you will be doing
In this role, you will support the HR team in its daily operations and ensure that our HR and payroll administration is accurate down to the last detail. You will maintain personnel files, draw up contracts, and coordinate appraisal rounds. You will also be involved in recruitment and selection, organizing training courses, and administering KLM and Schiphol passes, among other things.
In the area of payroll, you will check time registrations and changes and answer questions from employees. You will build up knowledge of payroll administration and, in time, you will have the opportunity to carry out the entire payroll process independently. Thanks to your accuracy and overview, our processes will remain reliable and efficient.
What you bring
You are a go-getter with an eye for detail. You maintain an overview, work carefully, and consider it important that administrative processes are correct. You don't have to be able to do everything yet; what's more important is that you work accurately, take responsibility, and collaborate well. If you recognize the points below, you will probably fit in well with our team:
- An HR degree or similar study is a plus, but not a requirement.
- Experience in HR or administration is welcome, but enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are just as important to us.
- You have a basic knowledge of HR processes and payroll administration or are willing to learn more about them.
- You have an excellent command of Dutch and English.
What you can expect from us
You will be joining a small and close-knit HR team of four colleagues, where cooperation, collegiality, and humor are key. We work in a hands-on and pragmatic way: we turn ideas into action and help each other when needed. You will be given plenty of room to contribute ideas, take initiative, and develop yourself further, including towards an independent role in payroll.
We offer you the following conditions:
- Checking linen for damage, stains, creases, and/or folds
- A one-year contract for 24 to 32 hours per week with the prospect of permanent employment;
- A salary between €3,480 and €4,500 gross per month (based on 40 hours) depending on your knowledge and experience
- A fixed end-of-year bonus of 5.33%;
- 25 vacation days per year (based on 40 hours) and 8.33% vacation pay;
- A pension plan to which the employer contributes 2/3.
