Statue stolen

The bronze statue “De Bleeker” was stolen in the night of Monday, May 11, 2026. The statue was located outside the premises of Lamme Textile Management on the Reeweg in Nederhorst den Berg.

“De Bleeker” was presented to then-director Jan Lamme by his father during the company’s 175th anniversary celebration. The statue holds great sentimental value for the family business, which is now 192 years old. Lamme was founded in 1834 as a bleaching company and specializes in textile services for the aviation, hotel, and restaurant industries.

If you have seen anything or have any information about the statue, please contact Lamme at 0294-258525 or via email at info@lamme.nl.
