Lamme’s Schiphol facility and part of its laundry operations in Nederhorst den Berg will relocate to Vega Amsterdam (Basalt), a new building at Business Park Amsterdam Osdorp, in early 2028.
Construction began at the end of October, with Heembouw as the contractor. Vega Amsterdam (Basalt) covers more than 35,000 m² and has high ambitions in terms of sustainability, architecture and spatial quality. The design was developed by Heembouw Architecten. Necron Group has acquired Vega Amsterdam (Basalt) for its European portfolio. Lamme Textile Management is one of the first tenants of this new logistics development.
Unique design in a sustainable environment
Designed by Heembouw Architecten, Vega Amsterdam (Basalt) stands out with its distinctive wooden arch structure, green façades and vegetated roof. Biodiversity features, solar panels and fully electric installations contribute to an energy-efficient and climate-resilient building. Vega Amsterdam (Basalt) meets the Dutch Nearly Zero-Energy Building (BENG) requirements and is set to achieve the NL Green Label and a BREEAM Very Good rating upon completion.
At the area level, Vega Amsterdam (Basalt) aligns with the ambitious sustainability goals of area developer SADC and the Municipality of Amsterdam. Together, they are developing Business Park Amsterdam Osdorp into a sustainable, circular business location where biodiversity, climate adaptation and nature-inclusive design are central. The second phase of the development, in which Vega Amsterdam (Basalt) is being built, achieved the highest BREEAM-NL area certification: Outstanding.

Heembouw started construction at the end of October. The construction period is approximately twelve months. Vega Amsterdam (Basalt) comprises 31,130 m² of warehouse space, 3,552 m² of mezzanine space and 1,100 m² of office space. The site is located at Business Park Amsterdam Osdorp, close to Schiphol Airport, the Port of Amsterdam and the A5 and A9 motorways.
Lamme Textile Management’s new laundry facility
Lamme Textile Management has selected Vega Amsterdam (Basalt) as the location for its new laundry facility. From the new premises in Amsterdam Osdorp, Lamme will provide laundry services for customers at Schiphol Airport and throughout the Randstad region from early 2028.
The choice of Vega Amsterdam (Basalt) aligns with Lamme’s vision for the future. CEO Jan Lamme explains:
