Statue De Bleeker is back home!

We are extremely pleased and relieved to announce that the bronze statue De Bleekerer, which was stolen from our premises on Reeweg in Nederhorst den Berg in early May, has been recovered and returned to us.

On June 1,the police brought the statue back to our company. Thanks to tips received fromthe public and the subsequent investigation, the statue was located in a shed and successfully recovered.

De Bleeker holds special historical significance for our family business. The statue was presented to then Managing Director Jan Lamme by his father during Lamme’s 175th anniversary celebrations in 2009. It symbolizes our rich heritage, which dates back to 1834, when Lamme began as a textile bleaching company.

We would l ike to sincerely thank the police for their dedication and professional efforts. We are also deeply grateful to everyone who shared information or provided tips that contributed to the recovery of the statue.
